I really wanted to see what was behind these doors. It was an auditorium of sorts. But whatever was going on inside was taking too long, so we moved on.
In 2008, the golden gate of Versailles were replaced. The original was torn down during the French Revolution in 1798.
The crow did not move from the top of that crown for the entire time that we watched it. Makes for a unique sort of picture, don’t you think?

We were constantly amazed by the quantity and quality of incredible artistry on display in the city. There was so much that I have no hope of remembering what they all were.
