Anime Con
Mirabel
This is the first time I have seen a Mirabel cosplay, and I was extremely excited to see her (as was Dragon). Her costume was detailed and perfect. She was with the Merida cosplayer from last week, and I love the idea that these two teen characters are friends. They’d totally get into mischief together.
Merida
I do not see enough cosplays of one of my favourite princesses – Merida! Her dress was an excellent copy from the movie. It looks like she might be friends with Aang too, or at the least Momo!
Mimikyu
I only recently found out about this pokemon (thank you, Tumblr!) and I just love the creepy vibe of it! I was thrilled to see this cosplayer walking around, and even more when I “captured” them!
Shopping Day
If Daisy, Rosalina, and Peach got together for a girl’s day, I think they’d go shopping together. They look like they’d have fun with that.
I love the cozy sweaters!
Uncle Iroh
This cosplayer is absolutely brilliant. I took a picture of their Cabbage Seller at OCC 2023, and was so excited to find out that this was the same person (after I had taken the picture). Look at their little teapot and cup!
Mushroom
I have no idea if this is a specific character, but the dress and hat are so spectacular that I NEEDED a picture. You can barely see it, because I had to blur out the background, but there were dangling strings all the way around the hat. It was stunning in person.
Sailor Mars
Princess of the North debuted a stunning new cosplay at Anime Con 2024! Not only that, but she bought the matching bag from me the day before to store her phone. Stylish!!
Hazbin Hotel
This new animated show has such a distinct style that I recognized this character, even though this is the variant costume and I had no idea what their name was. I now know that this is Charlie Morningstar’s battle outfit. Woot!
