Gandalf the Grey
Not to be confused with Gandalf the White, who I did not see the weekend of Comic Con 2024. He must have been looking for some hobbits to go on a quest, but he only found the Doctor.
Beautiful
I’m sure I’m missing the obvious, but I have no idea what this cosplay is. However, I had to have a picture of it because it was absolutely stunning. Cottage-cozy core is my favourite.
Sam and Frodo
Sam is 100% my favourite character in Lord of the Rings. I loved how many cosplays I saw of him at OCC2024, but this was my favourite, because it was so perfect. Frodo was also extremely well done, and together they blew my mind.
Doric
The shapeshifter in the Dungeons and Dragons movie (2023) was a huge hit in our house, and I was very excited to see her being cosplayed already.
Velma and Shaggy
Of all the Scooby Doo characters, these two have always been my favourites, and I was delighted to see these two. I think Shaggy would be keen to join the Doctor, but Velma would take some convincing. What do you think?
Hobie Brown
Spider-Punk was my favourite character in Multiverse, and I was disappointed he wasn’t in it more.
Fall Court
I’m probably missing the reference, and I apologize. I wanted this picture because their costumes are incredible, not because I knew who they were.
Silk
I love that there is more variety in superheroes now (compared to when my mom was growing up in the 60s) and this is one I look forward to reading more about: Silk! She was bitten by the same spider that bit Peter Parker (in some canon). I love that I recognized the costume even though I know very little about the character herself – something I must remedy!
Elves
The elves Arwen and Legolas were also out in force to meet the Hobbits. Love her dress; it’s gorgeous!
