I love this choice of costume for Ariel, done by Princess of the North! And look at her feet! Brilliant design choice. Her boyfriend makes an excellent classic Prince Eric.

I actually squeaked out loud when this cosplayer came to our booth. This is one of my absolute favourite characters from a Disney film. I adored her in Big Hero 6. Isn’t she just awesome?

I (Jen) wasn’t at Geek Market on the Saturday because of exams and pregnancy, so many of these pictures are a complete surprise to me. This is one of them – I actually squeaked with excitement when I opened it to edit it today. Honey Lemon and Baymax!! So perfect!
Ming-Na Wen
We asked Ming-Na if she wanted to have a part in the live-action Mulan that Disney is doing. She replied with a very enthusiastic YES! I said that it was too bad that there weren’t more female roles, and she said she’d be happy to play Mulan’s mother. I think she could pull off Mulan herself, personally. My costume was borrowed from the talented Mysticfae sisters. I wasn’t wearing the wig yet because I didn’t know how to put it on. I loved being the mother of dragons for half a day!
