Banjo and Kazooie
There’s a super cute video game called Banjo Kazooie, where Banjo the bear carries his bird friend Kazooie around in a backpack, which is a perfect fit for this family. The skirt was made by the mom, and is themed to match, but I didn’t manage to get it in the shot, unfortunately.
Kaori
The incredible @Fadhilitheone cosplayed as Kaori from Your Lie in April, which feels fitting as it was April 1st!
Also, yes, she can play the instrument and it’s amazing.
Westley and Buttercup
The Princess Bride is one of my favourite movies, and I loved seeing the numerous cosplays from the movie at the convention.

FadhiliTheOne is an incredible cosplay and won Best in Show at ComicCon 2022, bumping her up to the highest tier. I’m so very proud of her!
Unfortunately, I did not get a picture of her winning cosplay this time, but hopefully next time!
Mr. Dressup and Casey
I so very much enjoyed seeing Mr. Dressup and Casey again! Recurring companions?
Casey
Casey is the beloved puppet of Mr. Dressup (Canadian TV show). The last time I saw him, I burst into tears (happy ones). I didn’t have pregnancy hormones this time, so I kept myself under control.

Casual Good Omens cosplay
These two walked by and I almost missed them. If they’d been separate, I definitely would have. But the pattern on the mask, combined with the sunglasses on the other, made me realize what I was looking at: casual cosplay Crowley (red) and Aziraphale (blue). Absolute perfection. I was SO excited!!!
Osgood!
I was so excited to see Osgood. She even had a puffer! She was happy to be recognized, which I thought was strange – Osgood is so recognizable!
Tink and Peter
I almost want to delay this picture until Peter Pan and Wendy, but I won’t. These wings are too gorgeous to postpone. I wish the kids had been able to see these two in person.
