There were really interesting art pieces throughout the palace, and this one caught my attention. Cherubs on a battlefield?

One of my favourite children’s books growing up was Pippi Longstocking…the little girl who lived in a house by herself and didn’t have anyone to tell her what to do. It was a such a great surprise to see this cosplay at Ottawa Comic Con 2019.

This hall was gorgeous, but HOT and CROWDED. You can’t see all the people in this picture because of cropping, but it makes the hall look much bigger.

I think Loki is my favourite Marvel villain/anti-hero. I am very much looking forward to Disney +’s Loki…are you?

This bust makes me think of the one that Anna dances with in Frozen, that ends up stuck on top of the cake. It looks like it’s made of chocolate, but I guess that would’ve melted from the heat in this room.

I don’t know who this character is, but the leather work on the armour is so exquisite that I couldn’t resist. Lagertha from Vikings, perhaps?

It is really difficult from these pictures to understand what it was like to be there. How crowded it really was, how small the rooms were, how grotesquely ornate everything was.

Atlantis is a seriously under-rated movie. Milo Thatch is a treasure. And look! He found the TARDIS!

This is the corner of one of the rooms in the King’s wing. The candelabras caught my attention, but the really important thing to notice here is the wallpaper. You’re not allowed to touch it because it wears away over time!

Lumiere and Cogsworth! I love the materials they used for the waistcoat and jacket – it’s perfect. All the little details… Beautiful work. Possibly my favourite cosplay this year (2019)!
