Okay, I actually, literally, cried when this cosplayer came to our table. Mr Dressup was a HUGE part of my childhood, and this was the first time I had seen a cosplay of him.

And THIS cosplayer had Casey, Finnegan, AND a portable tickle trunk.

Still, the tears caught me off-guard.

We here at JenEric Designs love coffee, obviously. So when we heard about The Ottawa Coffee Fest that’s happening this year on March 23, we were pretty excited.

Unfortunately, we won’t be able to attend because we’ll be at Ottawa Geek Market. So if you go, please tell us all about it!

Details:

  • Where: Horticulture Building 1525 Princess Patricia Way (Lansdowne)
  • When: March 23 10am-7pm
  • Cost: $15 each + $0.50 per coffee sample (tickets on sale now!)
  • Who: The vendors look super amazing and professional (vendors)
  • What: Not only will you get to sample amazing coffee, but there are workshops given by professionals (workshops)

Blush: Sophie Labelle in Ottawa

This is an emergency Blush post.

Sophie Labelle (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram) is giving a talk in Ottawa on Monday, February 11, 2019 at Venus Envy on Bank St.

She is an incredible artist (Assigned Male Comics) and public speaker. She will be answering questions in French and English and then signing her books (available at time of the talk if you don’t already have any of them).
