The current Canada Post strike will affect us, but we have found alternative ways of shipping. Canada, USA, and International may be slower to fullfil, but we’ll find a way.

Ottawa Shipping

For those inside Ottawa, we are now offering a discounted shipping cost of $10. We’re working with Trexity to get the packages into Ottawa and parts of Gatineau.

Hello Imaginary Friends,

Sometimes it’s really, Really, REALLY hard to find a gift for family and friends.

You want to find that WOW gift that is both unique and awesome; the gift that the person receiving will be ranting about for years.

My amazing wife knit me a Baker scarf for Christmas three years ago. It was her first knitting project. Not all of us can create stuff that is that awesome.

Here’s a secret for finding that most awesome gift: Check out your local convention’s artist alley. The things you’ll find there are awe inspiring.

Conventions

For those in Ottawa, this weekend is PopExpo. Most of the vendors will have lots of stock and some will even take commissions. (Come see us at tables 2214 & 2216) P.S. Kids under 12 get in for free and they have awesome stuff for kids!

If you don’t want to go to the convention, check out their website they almost always have a list of previous or future vendors.

Creative Ottawa Nerds

Here’s a list of amazing artists and artizans that took part in the second Craft Fair Hosted by Creative Ottawa Nerds.

You’ll find some great stuff and most of them will ship or deliver.

Coffee Poll Results

Hello My Imaginary Friends,

I’ve been having a terrible week for allergies. My major symptom when I get hit like this, is weakness. My allergist informs me it’s one of the rarer effects. Before I went on the shots I could get so weak that sitting up in bed was so much effort that once I burst a blood vessel in my eye.

Hopefully this will pass. In the meantime.

Coffee Branding Poll results

A lot of you voted on last Thursday’s coffee poll. The results for colours were overwhelming. Here are the colours you chose: JenEric Designs Blue #0b4c86 and Chocolate-ish brown (#643e36).

It seems you all really like the Geeky theme but a few of you would like me to make some non-geeky flavours. I’ll consider having two names for certain flavours.

The name was a completely different story. The most votes was given to JenEric Geeky Gourmet Coffee. It’s a name that perfectly describes the product but the more I play with it in making a logo and other products the more I find it’s bulky.

I do really appreciate your opinions but unfortunately after talking with my business partner we’ve decided to brand it, “JenEric Gourmet Coffee”

I’ll hopefully have logos for you sometime in July.
