I think this is the first time I’ve seen a Rena Rouge cosplayer, which was super exciting! She’s a favourite in our house.
Miraculous Tales of Ladybug and Cat Noir
Miraculous Ladybug
The updated Ladybug costume from the more recent seasons is subtly different, but I recognized it right away. I don’t think Ladybug would go with the Doctor (she is very responsible about her duties), but she would definitely help him out if he landed in her city.
Formal
I adore these outfits, especially the gorgeousness of the dress. I think (correct me if I’m wrong) these might be based on the movie versions at the end.
I also got a picture of Dragon with these two, once she got over her shyness and came out from hiding behind me!
Ladybug
Our little Dragon (not so little?) was excited to cosplay as Ladybug at Anime Con 2024 – she helped make the costume herself! (The bag is obviously made by me!)
Cat Noir
Our little Pegasus was excited to coasplay as Cat Noir at Anime Con in Ottawa in 2024. He jingled with every step he took! (Until the bell came off.)
Luka
It’s no secret that I ADORE Miraculous Tales of Ladybug and Cat Noir. One of the characters is just so cool that you can’t help but adore him whether you like the show or not. That would be Luka, the super laid back, guitar playing, sage-advice giving big brother of one of the girls in the main group’s class.
I was really excited to see this cosplay, right down to the Jagged Stone tee.
Ladybug
One of the best animated TV shows: Miraculous Tales of Ladybug and Chat Noir. It’s from France. It’s so much fun, and a lot of it is due to this character: Ladybug!
Trocadero
This plaza is directly across the Seine from the Eiffel Tower. It also features in Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug and Chat Noir quite often. We started watching the TV show the evening after our tour of Paris, and were very excited to recognize this plaza as one of the main locations in the show (first season).
You can see our little “Madeleine” with my parents in this shot.
Side note: brightly coloured coats for kids is a great idea right now, because practically no kids are wearing them – they’re all in dark colours. Makes it SUPER easy to quickly spot your child. We have a yellow rain coat, an orange winter coat, and a blue winter coat for the kids. Definitely going to stick to this trend for the foreseeable future.
Marinette and Adrien (and an overwhelmed Wasp)
Our little Wasp is a HUGE fan of Adrien Agreste from Miraculous Tales of Ladybug and Cat Noir. So much so that she shut down completely when she met his Cat Noir persona at Holiday Edition this past November. So a smile and standing approximately near Adrien is a huge step up for her.
